Prickend Pond Fence Improvement Green Lane

Prickend Pond Fence Improvement

Prickend Pond is in the heart of Chislehurst, and this oasis of calm occupies a special place in the hearts of many residents and visitors to Chislehurst

Close to our Chislehurst & Bromley Office, this wonderful pond forms part of the local conservation area. Bordering one side is the 200 metres long Green Lane boundary fence which has been recently improved and now sports a fresh coating of white paint.

The visual results of the improvements are there for all to see, but behind the scenes lies a story of community spirit, teamwork, and a desire to improve the aesthetics of this beautiful location.

The Chislehurst Society, a local community organisation, alerted us to the temporary closure of Green Lane for cabling works. However, the closure opened a small window of opportunity that would allow a necessary and overdue refresh of the fence's paintwork.

Along with The Chislehurst Society, other local businesses supported this initiative by donating funds and workforce to facilitate the refresh. Everything was organised and completed quickly within tight time constraints, a fine example of great teamwork!

From an estate agency perspective, the improvement to the fence has increased the 'kerb appeal' of Prickend Pond and similar principles apply when selling your property. Step back and view your property as if you were visiting it for the first time.

To be constructively critical, would your boundary fence benefit from a lick of paint? Would your hedges benefit from a trim? Are there any small DIY jobs that could be attended to that would enhance a person's first impression of your property?

Our experienced local valuers will offer advice and strategy, including suggestions for sympathetic property improvements, which will assist you when selling your property. Contact us to organise your Valuation & Market Appraisal, and we would love to help with your move.
